KS4: Pop-up books project
You have been commissioned by a large publishing house to produce an imaginative, dynamic book which has moveable parts. The book must provide information on a topic of your choice, and can be in the form of a step-by-step guide. You must clearly identify your target market. You are required to produce a fully functioning prototype of the book as well as a comprehensive design folder to support the product. You must consider:

Use of CAD/CAM
Printing methods
Professional page layouts
Book construction methods
Typefaces and fonts
Mechanisms eg. Levers and linkages
